It's been a while since I've written one of these puppies. Let's see how badly I do here...

*clears throat*

Well, I've been pretty busy here and there with various things since my sister came out on June 23. She'll be out here for a little while longer but is heading back to Texas on July 28. So far, she has been pretty tame (knock on wood), but it's been nice to see her again. One of the first things we did when she got here was head up to Philadelphia, PA during the June 27-28 weekend for a little "event". The thing is is that my mom and my sister are both fans of the Ghost Hunters show on Sci-Fi (SyFy?), and my mom and I planning stuff to do when my sister got here. Kinda see where this is going? Luck had it that there are public investigations where you could "hunt ghosts" and meet the actual investigators from the show. One of these was up in Philadelphia (investigating Fort Mifflin), and the timing was just right. So...I suckered myself into getting three tickets, and about a week later, we were taking a five hour drive up to Philadelphia. I'll write up all the details on the trip, the "hunt", etc. some other time, but all in all, we all had a particularly good time.

In other, less exciting news for everybody, I finally finished up my first full-on machinima project, "The Death of Fantasy", after about two months of production time. "The Death of Fantasy" is a silent, black and white film about an aging storyteller, in a broken down world, whose outlandish tales of fantasy are not accepted any longer by his audience who shun him. Now that "The Death of Fantasy" is finished, I'm moving on to work on "War (or War)" which you can see here on deviantART. Then after I finish up "War (or War)", I've got a nice, little secret project to keep myself busy.

Oh, also expect some photo deviants from me as well. And maybe some other stuff too.
